The Luvbug Cookie Company was started by our Founder and C.B.O. (Chief Baking Officer), Erica Goldberg, in 2007. As far back as Erica can remember, her Grandma Pearl called her "her little Luvbug". As a mother of 5 kids ranging in age from 3 to 14, Erica has been calling her kids "her Luvbugs" for as long as she can remember.

But that's not all she inherited from her Grandma Pearl, Erica is a great baker. Something she also learned from her Grandma. Specifically, baking chocolate chip cookies. Not just your ordinary everyday run of the mill cookies, but big, chip filled, chewy perfectly tasting cookies.

For over 20 years, Erica has been baking them for friends and family. Whether it be for a Birthday, Graduation, or even Christmas morning, her cookies are usually part of the celebration. As a matter of fact, some family members have been known to hoard her cookies for future consumption, while others have been seen sneaking a dozen or two into a ziploc bag to bring home with them after the event. Friends and family have been telling her for years that she should be selling her cookies.

As the kids grew older, Erica decided that she was ready to go back to work. But she didn't want to work in some office far away from her kids, so she had to think of a business where she could be close to the family, make a decent living, and do something that she truly enjoyed...the dream job!

It was at that point that Erica decided to open a Company selling her homemade cookies. She would make them fresh daily.
